Setting up SumUp
⚠️ This feature is only available on our Business plan or higher.
SumUp is a mobile payment solution that lets businesses accept card payments using a card reader and smartphone or tablet. It also supports online payments and offers easy integration with various payment methods.
Configuring and enabling SumUp is quick and easy. Follow the steps below to get SumUp up and running on your store.
🚧 Your SumUp and SellSN currencies must match; otherwise, the integration won't work.
Starting the SumUp Setup
You’ll need a Public Key, Secret Key and Merchant Code/ID from SumUp. Let’s head over to SellSN and start the setup process to configure everything.
Firstly, head over to your "Account" page and then find the "SumUp" option and click "Connect".
Obtain and Enter Your Merchant Code/ID, Public Key and Secret Key
Now we’re ready to get our Merchant Code/ID, Public Key and Secret Key. First, log in to your SumUp account. Then, In the top right corner, you'll see your Merchant Code/ID. Save it somewhere, and then we can proceed to obtain our API keys next.
Now, let’s obtain our Public Key. Go to SumUp API Keys. You’ll see your Public Key there. Copy it to a safe location, and then we’ll proceed to create your Secret Key.
After that, create your Secret Key. Give it a name and click 'Create'
After creating your Secret Key, copy it and save it along with the Public Key and Merchant Code/ID.
Now, return to the SellSN Dashboard and paste your Public Key, Secret Key and Merchant Code/ID. And click 'Next'.
That's it! You've successfully connected SumUp to your SellSN account. You can now start accepting payments.
