This article will detail the best ways to use our product tagging system effectively in-order to boost your product on our listings.
What are tags?
Tags are small pieces of information about your product that are used by our searching and filtering systems to list or boost products that may be more relevant to the users query. For example: If I'm selling a product that offers a license key for some software, I could add a tag onto the product for that specific product so that when a user searches for the product name, the product appears on the results.
Where are they used?
Tags are used both on your seller page and the SellSN marketplace, they are far more useful for products listed on the marketplace.
Are there any recommendations for tags?
The SellSN marketplace has a list of pre-made tags that are used as categories on the marketplace home page, they are as follows:
